I came up with six New Year's resolutions for myself for 2006 that I thought I'd share with everyone. (Get it? 6! For '06!)

1. Strive to ensure each Local Heroes strip is entertaining. Coming up with entertaining new stories is hard. Bringing Gil onto the Local Heroes creative team should make this easily achievable.
2. Strive to ensure each Local Heroes strip is published on schedule. So far, I have skipped one strip and was late on two or three more. Let's have no more of that!
3. Redesign Hurm.com. I've had the same table-based design for too long—it's about time Hurm.com got some CSS lovin'.
4. Turn Hurm.com and/or Local Heroes into a profitable venture. Revenue could be from ads, merchandise sales, paid sketches, or some online service I haven't thought of yet. Doesn't have to be much—a few bucks every month would work for me.
5. Learn some more PHP/MySQL coding. I've dabbled, but I'd like to be able to do more than just tweak someone else's code.
6. Start a second comic strip. This is the one most likely to slip through my grasp. I have an idea for a second comic strip, one possibly creatable with minimal effort several times a week, but I'm not sure if I can do two comics at once. I'll definitely skip this one if it will interfere with the listings above.
