Susan and I are in London right now, on vacation. Let me give you some quick highlights.
The flight from Austin to Houston was fine, but the one from Houston to Chicago (to London) was delayed by about 2 hours.
But we got to London in the end, which is more than I can say for our luggage. Original reports say it was in Gatwick, but when I called later for an update the British Airways representative said the bags were in Washington. Whatever their current location, they're supposed to show up at London/Heathrow at 11:05 am local time and, after about an hour of processing, be hand delivered to us where we are staying.
And we're staying with Lizzie, Karl, and baby Zoe. They're incredibly nice, and together with Sam and Lloyd we ate dinner and played some Playstation 2 games.
We leave on Tuesday. If I get another opportunity, I'll post an update before we take off back to America.
