It takes me around 10 minutes to get to work, 15 if there's a lot of traffic. The fastest trip to work from my apartment was just over 6 minutes (with an empty road and all lights in my favor).
Work starts at 9:00am. And by that I mean I stroll in anywhere between 8:50am and 9:30am. Most of the team shows up at best by 9:30am, but more likely at, or just after, 10:00am. Someone is considered "late" if they are not around by 10:30am or 11am, or if they missed the occassional 10:00am meeting.
For most of those same people, work ends around 5:30pm or 6:00pm. I rarely ever leave before 6:30pm, often staying until 7:00pm or 7:30pm.
Once or twice a year, the team sometimes has "crunch time." Crunch time doesn't normally affect me (although I have my own similar periods). During these times, they try to show up sometime before 10:00am and stay through a company-paid dinner until as late as maybe 9:00pm or 10:00pm. These periods can last between maybe a couple of weeks to a couple of months.
